British complementary therapists’ standards of practice evaluated

The British research organisation Dr Foster together with Professor Ernst’s team at Exeter established best practice criteria relating to patient information, stopping ineffective treatment, communication with GPs, continuing professional development, and record keeping and patient history. They then asked five types of complementary therapists which ones they met. The results are detailed below.
