CAM and oncology fellowship announced

In the USA the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, the National Cancer Institute and the FDA have created a 3-year fellowship for new researchers to gain expertise in CAM and cancer. The fellowship has been created in response to the high use of CAM by cancer patients. Oncologists are repeatedly asked for their opinion on the use and benefits of CAM therefore fellows will be trained in both medical oncology and CAM, and will be exposed to the clinical and regulatory aspects peculiar to this field.
