Prince’s Foundation explores federal approach to CAM regulation

The Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health is exploring proposals to establish a voluntary federal regulator for CAM practitioners. This comes in response to a report commissioned by the Foundation, which examined three options for regulation of CAM and made a case in favour of a federal-type structure. The Foundation accepted the conclusion reached in the report and invited a wide range of views as part of the consultation process, which finishes in July 2006. An analysis of the responses is expected by the end of the year.
