Film director believes meditation can save schools

Film director David Lynch, along with sixties pop star Donovan, gave a series of talks in London to promote meditation in the classroom. Lynch has had success with the campaign in America, persuading 20 000 US schoolchildren to meditate twice daily with their teachers. The director has given millions to his Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education. He believes that meditation has reduced stabbings, violence and depression in some of the worst schools in America.
