The International Journal of Pharmacy Practice (IJPP) is devoted primarily to publishing original research papers on practice research in the field of pharmacy.
With an international editorial board comprising leading researchers in pharmacy practice and other healthcare disciplines, IJPP follows the established, rigorous standards of peer-reviewed research publications. The journal also contains review articles and discussion papers, and regularly publishes articles on research methods development.
Impact factor:
The annual journal impact factor is a measure of the frequency with which an ‘average article’ in a journal has been cited in a specific year. Impact factors are determined by the organisation ISI from a selected list of journals that fulfill defined selection criteria. The journal impact factor is calculated by dividing the number of current year citations to source items published in that journal in the previous two years by the number of articles published by the journal during that two year period.
The International Journal of Pharmacy Practice (IJPP) is not currently assigned an impact factor. An application to ISI for inclusion in their selected list of journals has been made in 2006.
