Pharmaceutical Press is the publications division of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. This Account Administration Policy covers the Website www.medicinescomplete.com (the "Website"). It sets out how we administer user accounts and publication subscription licences for this Website. By entering and using the Website you are deemed to accept all terms and conditions outlined in this Policy.
Accounts may be administered directly by a member of the Pharmaceutical Press Sales Team or one of its Distributors according to the type of account required and the geographical location of the user. The final page of the subscribe process provides contact details for your account administrator.
All Subscription fees invoiced must be paid before access is granted to the Publications, unless otherwise agreed. The Fees are exclusive of applicable state or local sales, ad valorem, personal property taxes or other taxes.
All amounts are payable in the currency stated on the invoice. Any amount not paid when due may be subject to a late payment fee equal to the lesser of 1.5 per cent of the unpaid amount per month, or the maximum rate allowed by law, unless otherwise advised.
Failure to pay the entire amount when due may result in Pharmaceutical Press or its representatives denying access to the Publications.
The account may be suspended if a breach of the subscription license or misuse under the website terms and conditions is considered likely.
We continuously monitor access and website usage. Where excessive download of publication content is apparent or other license breach is suspected, the current user session may be temporarily blocked. Service will be automatically resumed after a short timeout period. Under the terms of the subscription license, persistent repetition may result in the account being suspended and a notice of misuse being issued.
Accounts will be re-instated where the customer can demonstrate that the pattern of use is reasonable and all due care has been exercised in preventing unauthorised use. The subscriber may be required to change any access codes and passwords before access is re-instated.
Subscription licences can be terminated at any time by contacting your Regional Sales Team (as specified on your invoice or remittance advice) and giving 30 days notice in writing.
In the event of an unresolved breach of the subscription license or Terms and Conditions for this site, Pharmaceutical Press may terminate your subscription, subject to due notification.
A pro-rata refund based on the remaining complete calendar months of the subscription fee will be electronically transferred to the same payment card as the original purchase within 7 calendar days of receipt of written notification.
If a discounted publication package is terminated, but a subscription to one or more publications is retained, the amount refunded will be the lesser amount of the pro-rata purchase price of the cancelled subscription(s) OR the difference in price compared with a reduced publication package and/or remaining publication subscription(s).
It is the customer's responsibility to comply with the Terms & Conditions of use and ensure that access rights are not misused. No refunds will be made for publication accounts that have been disabled and a subscription suspended due to unauthorised download or other misuse.
