The advanced search interface

Use the Advanced Search function to restrict a text search to specific sections of the text. This can be useful if you only want to retrieve information on adverse effects, for example.

The Advanced search interface has its own search box and a list of the main monograph sections.

• Click on the Advanced Search button to open the Advanced search page.
• Enter your search in the search box.
• Click in the appropriate box(es) under Search only in:
• Click on the Search button or hit Enter.

When you perform an advanced search, the results display tells you how your search has been handled.

Notes:

The system defaults to searching in all sections.

You can select several boxes in Search only in: and the search will retrieve any of those sections containing the search term.
