You can use any recent web browser that supports cookies to access MedicinesComplete. For full functionality, you will need a browser that also supports JavaScript.
We recommend that you use Version 6. While MedicinesComplete does work under early releases of Version 7, we will continue development as this version matures.

There are very few differences between the two. It is really a matter of personal preference and what your needs and requirements are as a user.
Some users prefer CD-ROMs because they like a physical product that is portable and can be viewed without having a high speed internet connection. Alternatively some users prefer the online version as they are able to log into MedicinesComplete from any PC or laptop that has a web connection (with a suitable browser). Users with subscriptions to several publications can also take advantage of the global search facility on MedicinesComplete online.
Both have the same publication content but MedicinesComplete online is updated more regularly. A CD-ROM is released at the same time as the print edition and not all publications available on MedicinesComplete online are available in CD-ROM format.
