Who we are

MedicinesComplete provides subscribers with online access to drug reference material and is produced by Pharmaceutical Press, the publishing division of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has been publishing high-quality titles on pharmacy and related disciplines for over 150 years, including Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference, the British National Formulary and Stockley's Drug Interactions.

What we do

We are dedicated to providing online access to some of the world's leading drug and healthcare references from both our own publishing organisation and selected partners via MedicinesComplete.

MedicinesComplete supports both searching within a title and an integrated search across all titles, bringing together a wealth of evidence based, unbiased and regularly updated information:

Our History

MedicinesComplete was launched in 2004 as the digital platform for major reference works published by the Pharmaceutical Press. The MedicinesComplete software was developed by Clinical & Biomedical Computing Limited. The original list of publications included Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference, the British National Formulary, Stockley's Drug Interactions, Herbal Medicines, the Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients, Dietary Supplements, and Clarke's Analysis of Drugs and Poisons.

MedicinesComplete was the culmination of a 20-year history of developing publications for digital delivery, mainly through licensing data to 3rd-party hosts. Building on that experience, we aim to make the MedicinesComplete interface as easy and flexible to use as possible. MedicinesComplete is proud to host major reference works from other publishers as well as our own.
