Information about adverse effects, precautions, interactions, pharmacokinetics, uses and actions, and doses is found in the main drug entry in Martindale, the monographs. Click here for a description of monograph structure.

First, find the monograph using the contents list or use Advanced search:

From a drug monograph

• scroll through the monograph to the appropriate section

or

• select the section you wish to view from the sub-sections listed at the top

Using Advanced search

• click on the Advanced Search button to open the Advanced Search page
• select the appropriate monograph section(s) in the Search in… box
• select the relevant sections in Search only in sections…
• click the Search button
• documents containing the search term within the selected section(s) are listed in the Search Results
• select documents to display
